Sofya Kuriy
Ms. Sofya Kuriy is a highly qualified specialist in the field of international relations. Graduate of the international relations program of the nuclear industry’s flagship university NRNU MEPhI, Moscow, Russia, with a thesis on legal regulation and prospects for the development of the uranium mining industry in Kazakhstan.
Graduate of the prestigious educational program in the field of non-proliferation and peaceful use of atomic energy at KAIST University, South Korea, with a published article on “Nuclear Déjà-Vu: The case of Iran and Saudi Arabia nuclear program”.
Her professional experience includes internship at the Strategic and Sustainable Development Department of NAC Kazatomprom JSC where she was actively involved in drafting and preparation of the Company’s Annual Report for 2022, which was awarded the KASE “Best Annual Report in the Non-Financial Sector” award.
